Hittegolf was commissioned by Kamerkoor de Bilt on the occasion of their 25th jubilee.

The text is written by T.Buwe and is inspired by an idea of the composer.
It tells the story of a mixed choir visiting a barbecue on a hot summers day which finds its end in a body and sense cooling thunderstorm.
On the music preview you will hear a part of a performance by Collegium Vocale Zutphen under the direction of Saskia Regtering.
