Fresco

On 13 June 2013 Anna Buijze did her Bachelor Exam for organ at the Prins Claus Conservatorium, Groningen. Her concert was being held at the Martinikerk. To get a connection between the pieces on her programme, she asked me to make a composition which makes use of 2 elements from Frescobaldi’s 9th Toccata and 1 element (the first six bars) from Storace’s Ciaconna.
By crowd funding, sponsoring and financial help from family and friends she managed to raise enough money to get the piece funded.
