This piece is also dedicated to the ‘Melisma Saxophone Quartet’. It emerged at the same time while working on ‘Digging for the gold’. It had its première on 26 October 1918 at ‘Het Orgelpark’- Amsterdam. Organist was Aart Bergwerff.

‘Danser ave moi’ (which is French for ‘Dance with me’) sounds like a command, but is merely a question!
